Maya Jadoo, the inimitable magic show

Maya Jadoo is the unique illusion magic show presented by Prahlad Acharya and his troupe Yakshaloka Magical Entertainers. Yakshaloka has, since 11 years, been in the business of mesmerising the audience with an extravaganza that is truly magical.

The Maya Jadoo magic show, which presented its first show in September 1999 at Bellary in Karnataka State, created a record of sorts when it staged its 1000th show on April 7, 2001 at Udupi.

Having been at the forefront of Indian Magic with the Maya Jadoo magic show over the last two years, the Yakshaloka troupe has performed extensively all over southern India, mesmerising the audience with an extravaganza that is truly magical.

Each performance of Maya Jadoo is a magical package with a never-seen-before ethnic touch. The show presents a unique blend of magical illusion & drama, which Prahlad likes to term Dramagic.

Some of the highlights of the immensely popular Maya Jadoo magic show include the Indian Basket Trick (An International Award Winning Act), Kadinalli Jatre - Folk Magic Act, Nada Habba - Once upon a time, Punarjanma - Life after Death, and many more acts comprising of unbelievable Escapes, Levitations, Productions, Vanishes, Transpositions, Ventriloquism, Shadow Play, et al.

Prahlad, with his Maya Jadoo magic show, has won numerous national and international awards, the notable ones being:

      - The Outstanding Magician Award
      at Vismayam 2000, the International Magic Convention held at Trivandrum, Kerala in December 2000.

      - Gold Medal in Ventriloquism
      at the All Indian Magic Convention held at Kanhangad in November 1999

      - Silver Medal in Close Up Magic
      at the All Indian Magic Convention held at Kanhangad in November 1999
